Step It Up

I am just tired of hearing about all the excuses in the world for not taking care of yourself.

Everyone I know has ‘stuff’ going on in their life. If you really want to find time to take care of your health, then you can find the time.

Let me tell you how I find time to taking care of myself. It all begins with a good diet. Simply eat good healthy, real, organic foods each day in a balanced way. Stay away from all processed foods and limit the amount of alcohol that you consume. I am so tired of folks that complain about not losing weight as they are sucking down beer and wine multiple times each week. Seriously.

On top of eating clean foods you need to exercise. No, you don’t need to hit the gym 6 days a week for 1-2 hours a pop.

Far from it.

Start off with resistance training 3-4 days a week that involves your total body. In fact, with my tool of choice (kettlebells), I can get thru an entire total body workout in less than 30 minutes. More on that later.

Bottom line – you CAN get yourself in shape making smart nutritional decisions and training less than 2 hours a week.
